.VHAG is a national, not-for-profit organization engaged in social service and human welfare activities. Its programmes have made a perceptible change in its areas of operation to the lives of the underprivileged.



VHAG via its flagship programme, aims at operating AROGYA EXPRESS Mobile Health Vans in rural GOA and administering free primary healthcare to approx. 1 lakh population residing in rural inaccessible villages every year. 
“As of date, there are 6  Mobile AROGYA EXPRESS vans operating in Goa and Dodamarg  administering free primary healthcare to rural & remote parts of Goa and Southernmost Maharashtra taluka Dodamarg

Its other programmes like Arogya Sathi (trained community healthcare providers), breast feeding counseling/ Community health initiatives/ cancer screening and awareness / anemia detection and prevention programme / water and sanitation programmes and various other initiatives have made significant impact and it continues to expand its social coverage in areas where the need is the most”. Says VHAG’s Trustee Mr Raj X Vaidya.

The work of VHAG has been well recognized in the CSR circle locally and nationally with it being the recipient of many Awards including THE GOA LEADERSHIP AWARD 2023, ngo leadership award 2019, sustainable practices CSR award 2022, for the Best CSR Practice in Healthcare and other initiatives.
